Our Inventory
With an excess of $100 million in inventory, Marmon/Keystone is one of the largest stocking distributors of tubing, pipe, and bar products in the world. Our domestic and international supply chains are here to support the needs of Marmon/Keystone customers throughout North America. Inventories are readily accessible to our experienced inside sales team and the vast array of inventory is available to all of our locations on a timely basis. Our fleet of trucks is ready to serve our customers.
Our Supplier Innovations
Our suppliers help us help you. All of our suppliers are subject to a rigorous Supplier Quality System that continuously holds them to high standards in terms of quality of materials, delivery and service performance, and competitive pricing.
We have instituted formal processes with several of our key suppliers aimed at reducing cycle time for our best-performing product lines. Other processes geared towards eliminating channel redundancies have been instituted using leading edge technology and process flow analysis. Marmon/Keystone has taken these same philosophies and instituted them with selective customers to increase their efficiencies, thereby lowering their total costs.
Continuous Improvement
Marmon/Keystone’s dedication to being a world class supply chain management partner is demonstrated by focusing Continuous Improvement initiatives in all aspects of our organization. Our Continuous Improvement program delivers specific training and tools to help employees look for ways to improve work processes, diminish work that does not add value, standardize work environments, eliminate wastes, and advance our processing capabilities that drive our customers’ business. Our program gives our employees the ability to have a direct impact on their jobs and drive real cultural changes. We are leveraging Lean and other Continuous Improvement tools to drive our entire culture towards sustainable improvements of Process Excellence.
